Greetings one and all to my very own blog, based on my experiences within World of Warcraft.
I have had many and varied places that inspired me to create this blog, I won't list them all here, but I will endeavour to update the links section accordingly once I get around to it.
First of all, a little but about myself (well, my digital-self in any case);
My name is Raitin, I am a Dwarf Rogue based on the Dath'Remar Oceanic Realm. I am level 70, but have not been level 70 for very long, measured only in weeks at this stage. I have my basic flying mount, am 375 skinning and 360 elemental leatherworking (more on this later). I am working on my Sha'tar and Keepers of Time rep, as well as splashing my Consortium, Scryers and Cenarion Expedition rep, for various reasons.
One last thing about me..... I'm spec'd Combat Fists.
I used swords to level, but as soon as I hit level 66, I felt it was time for a change and I have never looked back. I'm not sure how to describe it, but picture this: a short, stocky, hairy man with claws. Yeah, looks badass, doesn't it? Now you might understand my reasoning :)
Right, now that is out of the way, I plan on updating this blog VERY sporadically, just explaining or bitching about certain things that happen to me in-game. or IRL. First of all, let me state for the record that grinding 100 pieces of Thick Clefthoof Leather to get my leatherworking skill from 360-365 is CRUEL! I ended up grinding 11 pieces out of 100, then gave up. I purchased another 60 from the AH and plan on buying the rest, once I've worked up enough gold again.
My leatherworking is also the reason why I am working on my Sha'tar and KoT reputations. These guys both have recipes that will give me my 365-370 and 370-375 points the easiest, and only need honoured reputation to boot! So it won't take my long to get this rep (or so I thought...).
So I had gotten bored of doing not much and decided to work on my Kara Key quests. I got up to the first key fragment. Disaster. I very quickly got a group to goto SLabs, but after almost an hour and a half in there, we hadn't even dropped Blackheart the Inciter... and we skipped the Ambassador entirely. Now, I was a bit discouraged by this, so went back to working on my Sha'tar rep (Arcatraz runs, mostly). During my first Arcatraz run, someone got their 3rd key fragment. No biggie, gave me something to look forward to. Another reason I was there, apart form rep, was a nice drop from the first boss. The best non-raid, non-pvp fist weapon in the game. It didn't drop, no surprise there. In fact, in the 50 minutes it took to clear the place, no a SINGLE drop was for me. That seems to happen to me a lot these days. Sigh.
But I digress, after doing this for a little while, I realise that with Patch 2.4 S1 (and maybe S2) gear is being phased out. "Oh no!" I shout, as I had only realised the glories of doing a quick Eye of the Storm to break things up. I have about 26 badges for EotS and need 40 to get the S1 Left and Right Rippers. 91.3 dps is glorious if you aren't raiding for a fist rogue, let me tell you! I can easily get the badges I need before 2.4 goes live, but I'm having trouble getting the Honour Points I need. Now this is where I need you, my (hopefully now) loyal readers help. What is the best way for me to 'honour-farm' the points I need to get these lovely Left and Right Rippers before they are gone from my grasp for good?
And on that note, I will finish up this initial post. Hopefully soon I will bring good tidings for all the things mentioned above. Heck, I might even have a comment or two! I leave you now pondering, my Quest for Fist!

Hehe - nice to see your blog up and running :-)
Well, the way I grind honor is to back to back play AV - nothing else - and if its AV weekend, I'll arrange my day to fit in a good 4 hours of play time in AV.
I fight hard for a win - looking to defend Galv (I'm horde) and break the alliance charge - I usually say in BG chat "defend Galv, break their charge = win, need 10 to help"
I have ground myself every single pvp (no dagger) weapon available - swords, fists and maces and a full set of pvp armor.
Prior to Arena, I also ground enough honor for twin high-warlord blades and some nice pvp kit as well by doing this.
Now I'm raiding - (as you know when I type my name) I've got access to better weapons than pvp stuff :-)
best of luck with the blog - I'll be coming back to see whats happening.
Cheers,
Crimsón
